Terms & Refund Policy
Draft, last updated 11 August 2026About TicketScope
TicketScope is a ticket resale service. Tickets listed on this site are sourced and verified before being offered for sale. Buying through TicketScope may cost more or less than the ticket's original face value, reflecting demand.
Placing an order
When you buy a ticket, you're entering into a contract with TicketScope. Payment is processed securely by PayPal, or via BitPay if you choose to pay with cryptocurrency. Once payment is confirmed, your order is final subject to the refund terms below.
Paying with cryptocurrency
If you choose to pay with cryptocurrency, a few things work differently to a card or PayPal payment:
- The price is fixed in GBP, not in crypto. You'll be shown the exact amount of cryptocurrency to send at the time of payment, calculated from the current exchange rate — this amount doesn't change even if the crypto's value moves before your payment is confirmed.
- Payments can take a few minutes to confirm once sent, depending on the cryptocurrency used and network conditions at the time. Your order isn't complete until this confirmation happens, though this is usually quick.
- Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed once confirmed. Our standard refund policy below still applies — where you're entitled to a refund, it will be issued to you in GBP by bank transfer or another mutually agreed method, not returned as cryptocurrency.
- Sending the wrong amount, using an unsupported cryptocurrency, or an error on your end during the payment process may result in a delayed or failed order that we cannot always resolve — please double check the amount and payment method shown before sending.
Ticket delivery
Tickets are sent digitally to the email address provided at checkout. We aim to deliver as soon as possible after purchase, sometimes within 24 hours of the event itself in the case of last-minute sales, though exact timing can depend on when the ticket is released by its original source and isn't always fully within our control.
Buying a ticket as a gift
If you choose to send a ticket as a gift, it's delivered directly to the recipient's email address rather than yours. The contract for the purchase remains between you (the buyer) and TicketScope — any refund, in the event one is due under the policy below, will be issued back to the original payment method used, not to the recipient.
Refunds & cancellations
Our refund policy depends on the situation:
- Event cancelled entirely: a full refund is offered.
- Event rescheduled: the ticket remains valid for the new date, with a refund option if the buyer can't attend.
- Buyer changes their mind: all sales are final. Because each ticket is sourced specifically on the buyer's behalf, we're unable to offer refunds or exchanges once an order is placed.
- Faulty or invalid ticket: if a ticket TicketScope sold turns out not to work for entry, a full refund is offered. This protects the "verified" promise the whole site is built on.
VIP hospitality & high-value packages
Packages such as F1 Paddock Club hospitality are arranged individually following an enquiry, not sold through instant checkout. Payment terms, cancellation terms, and any deposit structure for these packages will be confirmed directly and in writing at the time of booking.
Pricing
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include TicketScope's service margin. Prices may change at any time before an order is placed; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
